New York City Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society: "22nd Annual MS Bike Tour. "
at 7:30 a.m. (registration starts at 6:30 a.m.).
Starts at Pier 94 at West 54th Street and the West Side Highway. Finish line celebration at Chelsea Piers.
The Tour offers cyclists a choice of three routes: 30, 60 or 100 miles.
All cyclists start at the South Street Seaport at 7:30 a.m. and proceed along 30 miles
of traffic-free roads in Manhattan. Cyclists choosing the 60-mile route will complete part of the 30-mile course before traveling through a traffic-free tube of the Lincoln Tunnel onto the scenic and challenging roads of the New Jersey Palisades and returning to the city via the George Washington Bridge. Skilled riders can opt for
"The Century," a 100-mile ride that is an extension of the 60-mile route and goes through Rockland County. The Tour finishes at Chelsea Piers with a finish line celebration that includes music
and massages.
